Roberto Bianchi

A self-taught artist, Roberto Bianchi creates oil-based paintings, with the main subject matter of wildlife and alpine landscapes. Since 2013, Bianchi departed from solely realism and began exploring surrealism out of his fascination for the latter art movement. Bianchi tries to give a poetic touch to all his works, injecting soul to his pieces through great attention to detail. He calls this a maniacal fanaticism, with which he does not leave anything to chance: reflections that have wild animals in the eyes, the shadows and the highlights.
