Roberto Paissa

Roberto Paissa is a guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and composer. Born in Venice, 1958, Paissa has lived in Cibiana di Cadore since 2004. He was introduced to music through learning and practicing different instruments from an early age: his music interests range widely from jazz to ethnic, popular to contemporary.
Paissa studied Music History and was also involved in musicology and teaching- in the 70s and 80s, he was one of the pioneers who introduced Italian music to preschools. Additionally, he has composed and performed soundtracks for short films and videos, music for theater and television shows, and soundtracks for art exhibitions. One of his recent credits include MONTAGNE DI MUSICA (nine variations inspired by the sacred mountains) and CONCERTI ALTRI (project hosting on stage from time to time with various musicians).
